概要	The Japanese abstract noun “tokoro” is attached to nouns denoting “concrete objects” “humans” or “events”—other than place nouns—to indicate a specific location or situation. This study discusses the attribution of spatial properties through such use of “tokoro” from the perspective of cognitive linguistics.
