概要	This article examines 15th century Korean exegesis of a Zen analect written in vernacular Sinitic of the Nansong period to determine the translation stratesies used to render Sinitic into vernacular Korean. The translator Hyeykak Sinmi, who was not a trained specialist in spoken Chinese, made a number of errors and mistranslations, especially when it came to translating vernacular Sinitic tense-aspect particles.The artcle concludes by briefly contransting glossing strategies of Zen analects in Japan and Korea.
