概要	The main purpose of this research proposal is to analyze the development of technology paradigm of Taiwan’s TFT-LCD (thin-film transistor liquid-crystal display) industry. This research proposal is an extension of my study about Taiwan’s TFT-LCD industry that spans almost six years. I try to illustrate the mechanism of technology paradigm of Taiwan’s TFT-LCD industry through the comparative study of technology development trajectory between Taiwanese firms and Japanese counterparts.
